I’m pretty pleased with the new R. Kelly album. It’s got the three comedy tracks I need in “The Zoo”, “Real Talk” and “Sex Planet”. It’s got a Hiphop tune I like in “Hook It Up”. Most important is the one track per album that I actually really like the melody of, which on this album is the new single “Same Girl”. Robert allways knows which singles to release from his albums, which is fortunate since his videos add so much to the songs that to have the classics languish in album-track-land would be a crime. In this case we get a wickedly goofball twist at the end of the song. The whole concept of Usher and Robert being best mates is cute, playing ball together, toasting their rumbling of the girl’s scheme, in front of an open fire. Cute.

The best bit of this video is the phones showing their names as they sing them. Timing.

Oh and Usher sweats weird.
