Speaking of Hercules…

…it just so happens he is currently engaged in not one, but TWO bouts of public pugilism.

The Fist-A-Cuffs blog has a knockout tournament running which pits teams of two fighters drawn by teams of two artists against two fighters drawn by a rival two artists. Sounds complicated but it just means theres a hell of a lot crazy drawings from some of the world’s best cartoonists and film designers. Not that I’d want to sway your votes but if you voted for my homies Kevin and Herc’s team Delegates Of Pain I might call you a person of high taste. Equally if you take a look at Will Kane and Jose Luis Agreda’s team The Blazin’ Blades I’m sure you’ll be inclined to tip them for the win.

The other fight HURK finds himself in is the eternal fight to have one’s animations paid for by the BBC. Again teaming up with Canadia’s favourite rubber-chicken-lover K. Draw to produce a short animation that makes me very happy and slightly excited. You can see it and all the other shortlisted BBC animations here.
