The countryside I know is North Wales, this is much flatter – sky is therefore not quite as wide, even in winter.

I always love the beauty of countryside vistas, but never seem to like it close up. Always had a thing about dirt; soil; sand.
Makes a 35 minute walk so much better though, the thought of that round here makes me want to stay in.

End on a positive – where you live looks real purty in the right light. Glee!

Late afternoon. The light in autumn is nicer. I miss the noise of the country in spring/summer. It’s very quiet now. The sky is very big without leaves on the trees.

Looks really lovely, was it early morning or late afternoon? Sunny autumn days are easily as good as sunny spring days.

I meant to add that it’s about one album’s walk there and one album’s walk back. So long as the album was recorded before about 1965.
