Never heard this one before. I like it. Part of it was used on some Wu track but I guess you already know this.

Is it me, or is the voice (and I guess, by extension, the music) out of sync with the video on that YouTube clip?

Anyway, I'm madly jealous of your ability to know all these original breaks from household-name tracks like that. I only heard the original "Amen My Brother" track when Mark played it to me a couple of years ago, and I'd been into D&B for years before that. Grrr.

Smashing tune though.

Hah, funny you mention that. It's always a toss up between "Parade Strut" and "I'm Glad You're Mine" for my favourite break.

I allways thought that "Five Man Army" was a really flat use of those drums, though I've not heard it in a few years. I'll almost definitely do a post sometime titled "The top ten uses of I'm Glad You're Mine".

Thats beautiful. Massive Attack always had great taste in breaks. They also used the start of "I'm Glad You're Mine" by Al Green, which is awesome, on Five Man Army.
